How Christina Aguilera Ruined ‘The Voice’ (And Why She’ll Probably Be Back For Season 3) How-christina-aguilera-ruined-the-voice-and-why-shell-probably-be-back-for-season-3

"When The Voice first debuted on NBC, Christina Aguilera was arguably the most popular celebrity coach on the panel, which is one of the reasons she was able to command a salary that was more than what her co-stars — Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green made…combined! But after the questionable eliminations (*cough* Jesse Campbell *cough*), the glammed up underwear, ample cleavage, and that whole Tony Lucca thing…Aguilera has fallen out of favor with a lot of fans who think that she should be replaced ahead of the show’s Season 3 premiere this fall. The question is: Will the producers “save” her from elimination?

It’s been a tough season of The Voice for Christina Aguilera. But despite all of the controversy and the gaudy get-ups that had fans up in arms and turning off the show well ahead of the finale, there’s still a very good chance that the “Fighter” singer will be returning to her spinning red chair when Season 3 begins this fall.

Why?

Though many saw the tension between Aguilera and Team Adam’s Tony Lucca as a major turn-off, what producers and network execs saw was major media coverage. And you know what they say, “There’s no such thing as bad publicity.”

And while there was certainly a lot of hate being thrown in Xtina’s direction after the surprising elimination of front-runner Jesse Campbell, and the many (many) opportunities she took to talk about herself, there’s no denying that Aguilera still has a very large fan base.

Then there’s the Adam Levine factor… Many sources have said that the two coaches’ friendly feud has gotten pretty heated behind-the-scenes.

BUT if a choice had to be made — Adam or Christina — Aguilera may very well find herself on the chopping block. Besides, who wants to break up that bromance between Adam and Blake Shelton?! Other than Carson Daly?

What do you think RTVM — Do you want to see Christina Aguilera replaced for Season 3 of The Voice? If so, who do you think should take her place? Sound off in the Comments section below."
