Christina sells Sunset Strip-area home

‘The Voice’s’ soprano sells for $4.7 million.

Christina Aguilera has sold her Sunset Strip-area house for $4,653,815.

The Midcentury Modern, built in 1960, is in the celebrity-populated Bird Streets. The 6,500-square-foot post-and-beam house has a recording studio, screening room and walls of glass opening to a pool, a 12-person spa and a fireplace. There are four bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

Aguilera, 30, is among the world’s bestselling recording artists with sales of more than 50 million records. The Grammy-winning soprano’s hits include “Ain’t No Other Man” and “Beautiful.” She is a coach on “The Voice” (2011).

Public records show she bought the property in 2003 for $5 million.

Drew Fenton and Justin Paul Huchel of Hilton & Hyland, Beverly Hills, were the listing agents. Peter Lavin of Links Commercial Real Estate represented the buyer.

I read this yesterday. It feels somewhat bittersweet. I don't even know why I care, its not my house or life.

aww you probably care just like most fans do. When you grow close to an artist you start to feel like they are family or close friends. So when something in their personal life happens, it effects you. I feel silly too caring sometimes what does or doesn't happen in her personal life. I still do not like Matt, but then I think to myself...why do I care? I am not the one dating him, its her life. I don't even know the guy.

I just have one thing to ask....

I'm a girl, and even I'M wondering why you'd need 7 bathrooms....

The house is so big that you would have to walk a lot to get to ONE bathroom And of course if you have guests it's cool they have their own bathroom and stuff I guess Personally I think it's a bit unecessary too but the more money you have, the more you need.

I personally have never heard of a house having more baths than bedrooms.

That's more of what I was getting at. 7 baths for 4 bedrooms is kinda weird. And I understand the whole not only have 1 because of the house being so big, but 7 is a bit much.

I loved the pictures that were in that one magazine. The outdoor gazebo chill thing was cool!

More bathrooms than bedrooms?
I guess that's for when you have a lot of ppl over and don't wanna make them wait for the bathroom. There's 2 in my house and sometimes I think we need another one xD
